Good afternoon, Hamilton Ball Hockey Members,

We hope everyone is doing well and in good spirits.

The league has been in communication with the City of Hamilton regarding the closure of Eastwood Arena for safety reasons due to structural issues with the roof. As they are continuing to finalize their reporting on the arena, the City of Hamilton has advised the league that they will be removing ice early from other City of Hamilton arenas so that the league could use the arena to continue our season.

At this time they have committed to remove the ice at some arenas this week which would allow the arena to be able to have arena floor use for the end of March. The league is awaiting an important update from the City of Hamilton and will be able to update the membership with key dates to prepare to continue the your season.

Once the league receives the update from the City of Hamilton, we will update the membership immediately to plan on the return to ball hockey.
